The Tummy Team specializes in functional core and pelvic floor rehab and creating doable ways to reclaim your foundational core strength so you can be strong and pain free for your real life. Contrary to the cultural pressure, it is not a series of exercises or a new workout plan that is ultimately going to give you the strength you need. It is real life movement in real life moments that adds up to give you meaningful strength for the important things of everyday life.
We have all believed the lie “all or nothing” in some aspect of our fitness or exercise history. Unfortunately, most of us falter with a tiny bit of “all” and a whole lot of “nothing” as a result.
What if we told you that success is not about just trying harder?
Your body is a “use it or lose it” system. And your core and pelvic floor are postural and structural muscle systems by design. So if we simply create opportunities for your body to move daily in upright aligned postures then your body will build strength for those upright and aligned postures.
Surprisingly, little things add up quickly when we are consistent. So we want to set you up to be consistent, successful and to feel great.
Every November The Tummy Team launches a 21-day Meaningful Movement Challenge to help you see how effective daily intentional movement can really add up!

You simply need to be willing to take 1-3 minutes of your day, EVERYDAY, to join us in some meaningful movement.
We live in a repetitive routine and our body needs variety. We sit (a lot) and we need to alternate that with some stretches and standing. We look down and reach forward and our body needs opportunities to look up and reach out. Everyday of this challenge, Kelly Dean (physical therapist and founder of The Tummy Team) will lead you in a minute of meaningful movement and give you a few things to think about throughout the day to reset and recharge your posture, your core, your connection and your movement.
